Lots of things have been said and written about indian team.Everything from theirs blazers,to their superb performance in South Africa(superb in the sense' superbly spineless').Lots has been written and discussed about sehwag's lost form and lost hair,sachin's ability to score at a strike rate of 10.33(which is very disturbing),dravid's command over his team(i.e his captaincy),dhoni's hairstyles,karthik ability to hit sixes and getting out the very next ball,kumble's determination(he is still determined to prove to the world that he is a leg spinner though he stills bowls faster than zaheer),laxman's lack of opportunity(well doesn't make much of a difference anyway,but does make a difference of one ball,ganguly's return(don't worry not his return to form),raina and kaif selection(null values anyway).But one should acknowledge the fact that they have improved after each game i.e the margin of losses,from 157 run defeat to 8 wicket loss.
I personally feel that we should give these guys a break,sure this will not stop from losing the test series but atleast they'll feel less pressure on themselves.These guys are only representatives of a decently successfull sport in india.You can argue that hockey,tennis and high jump has brought more glory to us.Yeah hockey has brought us lot of success from winning very gold medal that country has won in olympics to finish 11th out of twelve in the recently concluded world cup,tennis again has brought us more success such as sania's ranking from 500 to 34 to 79 and so on... (iam planning to establish a series based on her ranking like fibbonacci) and legendary pair of lee and hesh from winning french,wimbledon,US to losing in the first round of asia cup.Cricket is religion in this country. I got so when angry olanga(henry) bowled mr.prasad(not MSK) that i actually developed a headacke.These are the guys who represent each one of us,they excite us,frustate us,they really are our nation's inner emotion.They are rockstars when they are successfull,a bunch of useless highly paid professionals when they fail.But they are us.
I still don't remember a match where india on verge of losing,that i have shut off the TV.I hope for a miracle,i hope for a mirage that i know will never happen but i persist on and keep hoping(and to avoid studying ).India is the only country in the world where there are religious biases.Cricket as i said before is a religion.It is a religion that represents the real us,it is a religion which unifies us,it brings out what india is all about.It brings out our burning desire to be the best in the world.It doesn't care who is what,it only cares about us .It brings our hidden emotion to the fore.
These guys are our gods(our devatas) .We expect them to score every game,take wickets,make untakeable catches look simple.But they are humans,they have a physical,mental limit.Sachin is not a machine he is 33,17 years he has batted for us,17 years he has toiled in conditions where others have failed.He is mortal but it is the media,the fans who have made him an icon,an avatar.He has batted through back pains,bleeding nose ,criticism .He has achieved what i don't think anybody has achieved in last 50 yrs of cricket. He is a guy who has spent his childhood with a bat in his hands and teens in the nets,when people like you and me where trying to remember simple (and stupid) nursery ryhmes and watching anything and everything(including when there is reception trouble)in televison.
They may not look like it but they do have feelings,they feel scared,feel frustated,feel tired.It is who we assume that they have no right to feel these things.They need more than any psycholgists( who BTW collects millions of rupees for a simple advice),they need support,they need us.They need us cheer them,need us to annoy the opposition,they need us to reaffirm they're belief that thay are best in the country,they need us to motivate them when they're down and almost out.

So pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeee support these guys ,give them time,give them some free space.

So don't be disheartened when they lose(which may occur more sooner than later),give them wat they want
